These cotton buds are made with card stems rather than plastic. Approx. 100 Pads in a pack.
The sad fact is today that in many parts of the world, intensive cotton cultivation is still accompanied by chemical poisoning of farmers and their children, forced and child labour, the destruction of wildlife and biodiversity, and the wrecking of traditional local communities. Many suppliers will be able to tell you that their European manufacturing processes are to the highest standards. But this is of little value if they can not prove by independent audit that there is no serious environmental or social damage resulting from the cultivation or manufacture of the components. The vast majority simply do not know because they cannot trace back the origin of many raw materials.
